As of February 7, 2022, compliance with all aspects of the entry-level driver training rule is required. An entry-level driver must complete a prescribed program of theory and behind-the-wheel instruction provided by a school or other entity listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) Training Provider Registry (TPR) prior to taking a skills test for a: Class A CDL, Class B CDL, Passenger endorsement, or School bus endorsement.
The primary objective of this certificate program is to prepare students with the necessary skills to handle a commercial tractor-trailer combination vehicle in a safe and professional manner sufficiently to pass a state skills exam and become a licensed commercial Class A driver.
ATTN Out of State students: The Theory section of the course can be completed online prior to the start of the Behind The Wheel classes.
The primary objective of this certificate program is to prepare students with the necessary skills to handle a commercial passenger bus vehicle in a safe and professional manner sufficiently to pass a state skills exam and become a licensed commercial Class B driver with a Passenger Endorsement.

The primary objective of this certificate program is to prepare students with the necessary skills to handle a commercial passenger transport vehicle in a safe and professional manner sufficiently to pass a state skills exam and add the Passenger Endorsement to their existing CDL.

Theory instruction is defined in the rule as “knowledge instruction on the operation of a CMV and related matters provided by a theory instructor through lectures, demonstrations, audio-visual presentations, computer-based instruction, driving simulation devices, online training, or similar means.”
This is a one day theory course for students or drivers seeking to add the HAZMAT Endorsement to their license.
