Under the FMSCA requirements, an entry-level driver must successfully complete a prescribed program of theory and behind-the-wheel instruction before taking the CDL skills test. This training must be provided by a school or other entity listed on the FMCSA's Training Provider Registry (TPR). NNCT's commercial driver training programs are approved for WIOA funding and are listed on the state's (ETPL) Eligible Training Provider List with the Department of Workforce Solutions. WIOA is the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act. This program offers federal grants to those who qualify. These grants may be used to cover the costs of tuition and other training related expenses. These grants do not have to be repaid.
